TUSCIA ENO-GASTRONOMY
Tuscia region, rich in art and
archaeological itineraries, is crossed by Via
Francigena, and it stretches to the north of
Rome.
Here there are still many traces of the Etrurian
civilization, as Tarquinia and Tuscania necropolis;
besides these, you find Medieval villages, castles and
wonderful palaces as in Vetralla. This is the mixture which makes
Tuscia an extremely suggestive landscape.
Its territory, gathering together about 60 towns, has an old eno-gastronomical tradition.
